Microscopie Nonlineaire et Structuration des Materiaux Organiques (NOMPOM)

Motivation

Le travail de recherche de l’équipe concerne essentiellement l’étude des propriétés optiques non linéaires (ONL) quadratiques de composés organiques, de la molécule simple aux systèmes plus complexes (polymères fonctionnalisés, matériaux hybrides organiques/inorganiques). Nos travaux expérimentaux vont des aspects fondamentaux de compréhension des mécanismes à l’origine des propriétés optiques non linéaires des systèmes étudiés jusqu’à leur application dans la création de dispositifs intégrés. Les travaux de nature pluridisciplinaire sont menés en collaboration étroite avec des théoriciens pour les aspects fondamentaux, des équipes de chimistes pour la synthèse de composés originaux ainsi qu’avec des biologistes pour l’imagerie multiphotonique.
