The FitREXS project

Resonant elastic X-ray scattering (REXS) refers to a technique based on tuning the x-ray photon’s energy and measuring at the same time the intensity of a Bragg reflection. This technique is strongly dependant on crystallographic parameters such as atomic position and/or distribution and the analysis of recorded spectra is not obvious. FitREXS (= Fitting Resonant Elastic X-rays Scattering) is a dedicated code which allows to perform simulation and/or simultaneously refinement of anomalous x-ray spectra. Additional physical parameters such as variant, orientation of the unit cell, size of the domain have been implanted in the code. The GUIs has been designed using Qt Designer making the code user-friendly.
