Micromagnetism : Development and Implementation of Numerical Methods

Micromagnetic studies of realistic nanomagnetic systems urequire extensive simulations and modern computational methods. The complexity of the theory reflects in particularly advanced numerical techniques necessary to study micromagnetic systems. In our custom-developed code is continuously improved

- Implementation of various extensions of classical micromagnetism (Landau-Lifshitz-Bloch equation, Spin-Transfer Torque terms …)

- Highly efficient data compression methods to enable large-scale simulations (FEM-BEM algorithm with Hierarchichical matrices)

- Portation of the code to General-Purpose Graphical Processing Units (GPGPUs)
