Our library is associated to the “Service des Bibliothèques de l’Université de Strasbourg“.

 –  1309 theses, among which 227 IPCMS theses (Author alphabetical classification)

 –  Collection and filing of the publications of the institut since 94

LOAN CONDITIONS

• Students “licence” : 5 documents for 14 days
• Students”master” : 8 documents for 21 days
• Phd Students and staff : 10 documents for 28 days
• Teachers and Researachers : 30 documents for 28 days

You can borrow books with the library card you get from « Service des Bibliothèques de l’Unistra » when you subscribe to the university

Any delay is penalized by a suspension of loan equal to the delay

Books that must be registered in the library :

– All the books ordered by research departments on their own credits. Theses books will become « Mis A Disposition » (or permanent loans) and will stay in the office of the researcher who has ordered them. However, these books will be available for any other member of the institut.

Books buying : Throughout the year, you can suggest the references of the books you need to the librarian. They will be submitted to the « Commission Bibliothèque » which meets once a year. The proposed books must have a general interest ; more specialized works being bought by the research group concerned.

Document that must be given to the librarian for filing : a copy of each thesis

Web browser extensions make it possible to consult resources in an authenticated manner but without going through portals (for example directly from the publisher’s site), and therefore to eliminate several steps.

It is important not forget to go to the options of the extension to click on “University of Strasbourg” (will only have to be done once)
