At CNRS

INIST portal : BibCnrs replaces the former TitaneSciences and BiblioSciences portals.

It has a single interface for the entire CNRS scientific community, offering a dedicated discipline-specific space for each of the ten CNRS Institutes and gives to the researchers community of CNRS Laboratories access to documentary ressources (journals, books, databases).

You mainly sign in using the Sesame login/password. (Sesame is the CNRS password management application.) via the identity provider JANUS (cnrs certificate)

Go to the tutorial: “Sign in on BibCnrs“ – duration: 4 minutes (only French version currently available).

If you do not have a Sesame account yet, you can still temporarily use the portal access code which you used for the BiblioSciences or TitaneSciences portals.

The database Web of Science on this portal covers the years 1900 until today.
(You have to be connected to BibCnrs to access this link)

For a rapid access to articles:

You can use a bookmark to identify yourself as a rights holder when you browse on a publisher’s website and thus obtain the full text version of an article without needing to first run a search on the BibCnrs portal.

You just need to create a bookmark for your discipline field’s URL on your browser. A four- minute tutorial explains everything!

Here are the URL to put into your bookmarks :

For INP:  javascript:void(location.href=’http://inp.bib.cnrs.fr/login?url=’+location.href)

For INC:  javascript:void(location.href=’http://inc.bib.cnrs.fr/login?url=’+location.href)

Web browser extensions make it possible to consult resources in an authenticated manner but without going through portals (for example directly from the publisher’s site), and therefore to eliminate several steps.

For unistra: you can install the EZ Proxy Redirect extension : =
Firefox : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ezproxy-redirect-foxified/
Chrome :https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ezproxy-redirect/gfhnhcbpnnnlefhobdnmhenofhfnnfhi
It is important not forget to go to the options of the extension to click on “University of Strasbourg” (will only have to be done once)
To help you, see the tutorial in attached doc, entitled “Extension-web_Abonnement Unistra

For the CNRS: the Click&Read service for CNRS research communities to facilitate access to scientific publications.
The extension can be installed in two clicks in the usual browsers Firefox, Chrome but also on Safari for the community of Mac users from the url: https://clickandread.inist.fr/page_info

I strongly advise you to install these plugins on your browsers, they will simplify your work!
