Functional molecular materials

The activity of the team focuses on the development of pi-conjugated molecular and macromolecular systems with fluorescence or charge transport properties for various applications such as laser diodes, photovoltaics, neutron detectors… Particular attention is paid to the control of the organization of these (macro)molecular systems which can be liquid, mesomorphic or single crystal. In addition to the design and synthesis, the team is also interested in the photophysical study of these molecular systems.
